Well break is over now and it's back to school. Time to start waking up early and shaving regularly (among other things). I did have a great time this break though. All my family was able to be here for Christmas even my Dad who actually arrived at about 11pm on Christmas Eve and barely made it. We were able to spend lots of time together especially since our house is much smaller than it used to be when we all lived here. I personally was able to get a little MCAT studying, some daytrading, lots of sleep, and lots of reading done. Also, I went to St. Louis with some of the coolest people ever for New Year's. Mateo Herrera, Scott Davis, and I decided at 1am on the 31st that we wanted to go somewhere for that night. So...we called up some other people (James Estes, Brandi Stark, and Emily Carter) and left at about 4pm for St. Louis. We had a great time including actually sleeping in the Dream Center.
When we got back I had one day of rest and prep and then drove to Disney World for the SHPE NTCC 2006 (an engineering conference). The conference was great and I might get an internship for this summer out of it.

This picture was taken at the beautiful resort that we stayed at and where the conference was held right next to Disney World.
Something I learned this break is that sometimes God's will is not so easy and sometimes it its fantastic. It is always, however, the right thing to follow and always the best thing for us. The decision that we have to make isn't whether we will follow or not. The decision is whether we will enjoy it. Only you can decide.
So with great memories in my head and lots of work coming soon I get ready for school. This semester is going to be a challenging one academically, but it is also going to be a rewarding one. I am looking forward to it.
